By using faster-now (the "Service", "we", "us") you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
faster-now lets you connect a supported e-bike — currently Specialized (Dayton TCU / Master Mind) and Fazua Ride 50 (evation) systems — to your computer over USB and read and change its configuration parameters (such as speed setting and wheel circumference, and firmware on supported Specialized motors) from your web browser. The Service is a configuration and diagnostics tool.
You may only use the Service on a bike that you own or are authorized to service. You are solely responsible for how you configure and use your bike.
Configuration requires a one-time activation per bike of €129 (or the equivalent shown at checkout), processed by Stripe. After activation, further parameter changes for that bike are included at no additional charge for as long as the Service remains available. This is a one-time payment for access to the Service as it exists from time to time; it is not a subscription and does not guarantee any minimum period of availability, nor any particular future feature or continued compatibility. Prices include applicable VAT where required.
Specialized Generation 4 (BD03 / BDA3) is priced and delivered differently: activation is a one-time payment of €249 that covers a single configuration carried out for you via remote support (BD03 up to 45 km/h; BDA3 / S-Works up to 20 mph). It is not self-service and does not include further changes at no charge — each subsequent configuration is a separate, separately-charged service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result (including any speed, range or performance) will be achieved.
We do not guarantee continued compatibility. Manufacturers may at any time change their firmware, software, cloud services, security or hardware, which may reduce or remove the Service's functionality for some or all bikes, models or features. Such third-party changes are outside our control and do not entitle you to a refund, credit, or any other remedy, and do not constitute a failure of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, nor for damage to your bike or its components, loss of warranty from the manufacturer, fines, accidents, injury, or legal consequences arising from your use of the Service or of a reconfigured bike. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected bike.
faster-now is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any bicycle or drive-system manufacturer — including, without limitation, Specialized Bicycle Components and Fazua / Fazua Drive GmbH. All product, brand and model names are the property of their respective owners and are used only to indicate compatibility.
You must not use the Service unlawfully, attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the Service, or resell access without our agreement (dealers excepted under a separate arrangement).
We may update, suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time, and we may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
