We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the Service. This page explains what we store and why.

What we collect

• Bike read-out — your frame serial and a summary of the parameters read from the bike (e.g. motor/battery info, speed setting, wheel size, firmware versions).
• Technical data — the IP address and browser used when you read or activate a bike, plus timestamps.
• Payment reference — the Stripe payment identifier for an activation. We never receive or store your card details — payments are handled by Stripe.
• Dealer accounts (if applicable) — login id, display name and token balance.

Why we use it (legal bases)

• To provide the Service (performance of a contract) — enabling your bike and applying changes.
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, support, and an audit trail of changes made to a bike.
• Legal compliance — payment records and refunds.

Processors & hosting

Payments are processed by Stripe (see Stripe's privacy policy). The Service is hosted on servers in the EU (Hetzner, Germany). We do not sell your data or use advertising/tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is a session cookie for dealer/admin login.

Retention

We keep activation and audit records for as long as needed to provide the Service, support you, handle refunds, and meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law (including the GDPR), you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to certain processing. Contact info@faster-now.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
